JMG Software completes a website upgrade for Brouse McDowell (www.brouse.com)
- Upgraded a classic ASP website to a complete .NET 2.0 web solution.
- Focused on achieving a professional and contemporary look to better reflect the attorneys at Brouse McDowell, Organized information and site navigation so that it is more user friendly.
- Developed a new and more advanced Search function within the site to search site content in a variety of ways, including:
- Search with all words, exact phrase, search with at least one of the words, Search by selecting topic, Refine search within topic.
- Integrated a new and more effective Content Management Tool to allow the Brouse McDowell team to manage portions of the content of the site. These tools give the Brouse McDowell team the ability to add/modify/delete copy and add/remove images on defined pages of the site.
- Includes 3 levels of Administration:
- Master Level – Highest Level Clearance. Complete control of all content and admin functions. Ability to create Office and Agent Level administrators.
- Office Level – Secondary Level. Complete control of all content for a defined office. Ability to create Agent Level administrators and assign them access to portions of the site to edit. Option to add a preview/review of all Agent Edited content.
- Agent Level – Ability to update defined content assigned by a higher level administrator.
- Ability to easily manage attorney bios, links, news, articles, title tags, Meta tags and other site content.
- Integrated the ability to allow the Brouse McDowell team to access log files that provide the following information on any changes or updates made to the website:
- Dynamically convert each attorney bio page to a PDF file. Each PDF file needed to have the following interactive capabilities:
- Email the Attorney, Print the bio, and VCard integration.
- Developed a Job Posting Tool that allows the Brouse McDowell team to easily manage new positions and prospective candidates. Administrators can create a job description and accept online applications. Application form supports resume upload. Customizable filter questions can be added to predefined core questions (name, e-mail, resume, phone & questions/comments). Applications are stored in a web queue located in the Content Management System to be reviewed and assigned a status. Status options include: schedule interview, keep resume on file or reject candidate.
- Developed a new Attorney Filter tool to allow visitors to the site to locate an Attorney that matches up to their needs. Filter criteria included:
- Law Practice, Law School, Location, and Attorney Name.
- Developed a “Feature Stacker” Tool to be included on the Home Page. This tool gives Brouse McDowell the ability to convey new features and updates to its target audience.
